The MSO presents a weekend workshop for students and community players to gain experience playing in a full symphony orchestra alongside experienced mentors.

The weekend rounds off with an informal performance to present the works that have been rehearsed over the two days.

This year the workshop focuses on:

Dvorak Symphony No. 8 , first movement.
Shostakovitch famous Waltz No.2
and a new work composed by Erin Fagan for the event:
Where do we go Now?
